Picture Perfect

I have a perfectionism tendency. It's calmed over the years, but is still there, hanging out in the back of my mind. Maybe it has calmed down because a lot has been passed on to Taylor, I don't know. But that's another story... At any rate, we have ideals in our heads of how things should go. I have illusions of grandur on a regular basis. Images in my mind of how a particular event / activity / you name it should go. Picture taking is a prime example of when nearly everyone's perfectionism gene shines bright. I've learned to roll with the kiddos mood on this one. The more you stress, the worse the picture. When you focus on having fun with it rather than capturing the perfect picture you actually end up accomplishing both - good time and great picture.
